# Charts

Charts use Aurora Core semantics without becoming over-styled.

## Current pattern
- primary line: gold
- secondary / forecast: purple
- warning thresholds: amber
- failures/incidents: red
- system/informational values: blue

## Interaction contract
- Period controls must switch real datasets, not just active button styling.
- Primary and secondary series should transition together so the chart feels continuous rather than re-rendered.
- A short ease-out morph is preferred for line, fill, and endpoint movement; axis labels may fade or slide during the update.
- Gold remains the primary analytical series. Purple supports comparison or forecast. Amber may mark thresholds, but it stays matte.
